Access Point Maps
7.9 | 1.2.1
Access Point Maps is a GPS-enabled app that solves the complex problem of finding publicly-accessible rivers and streams for flyfishing. The solution is a simple and intuitive interface that shows publicly accessible land (in green) and private land (in red) along flyfishing rivers and streams. Where the public has lease access to private land for flyfishing, that access is shown too (in purple), along with easy places to park and find the river. Whether you are new to the sport, or new to an area, this app shows you where you can go so that you can confidently explore new rivers and streams. The current coverage area is limited to rivers near the Front Range of Colorado, but additional work is underway, and more coverage areas will be added soon.
With Version 1.2.1, a subscription model is introduced. As a practical matter, this means that the app will now be free to download, and users can elect to join a monthly or yearly subscription as an in-app purchase. In either case, there is a 7-day free trial period, so that users can test out the functionality of the app for free, and cancel if they so choose. The requirement to join the subscription is presented immediately to the user upon download and launch, and there is no meaningful functionality provided in this app without a subscription.
Use of this app is governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, available at: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. Additionally, the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy are available in the App with a link at the bottom center of the subscription page and also at the bottom left of the active map. Those same Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy can also be accessed at the following website: https://www.accesspointmaps.com/about-3.
